We snuck away this May (in advance of the craziness that is becoming first time home buyers and moving in) for a week in the Bahamas. I’ve been before to a different island (the Bahamas is made up of 800!), and it is always very apparent why the slogan is what it is —
We stayed in Freeport at the Grand Memories Resort, a Sunwing property, and soaked up all that we could including a very unique pool at the hotel, the namesake market of the island, a botanical garden sanctuary and of course, plenty of beach. Take a look through the pics leave a comment for any q’s! xx
Bird’s eye view of beautiful Freeport.
This beach set up at Grand Memories is a minimalist’s dream – we ate at this beach bar daily.
The hotel pool has been transformed from an old sugar mill which is just gorgeous.
Tons of (overly) friendly fish around at all times!
Our ride for a day exploring the island.
TBH, I don’t know what this place is but we saw it off the road and had to stop for a pic!
