I know it’s not even Christmas yet, but just as I posted the holiday gift guides and home tour early so you would have time to order online, I wanted to do the same for all the things you need to nail your New Year’s Eve look (because let’s be honest, who’s trying to go into a mall right now to shop?) —
I’ve rounded up some options that work for a variety of scenarios; spending New Year’s Eve out somewhere special, attending a wedding or maybe just staying in with a few close friends. In any case, you have everything you need here to build the perfect outfit, beauty look and ambience for a memorable evening.
We’ll be up North at a cottage with a group of friends this year, so both of these looks apply for me (some nicer activities out and hanging around the fireplace). For the former, I am obsessed with this beaded and fringed dress and love that it has a little sparkle for the occasion, but is definitely rewearable to other functions beyond NYE. For beauty picks don’t skimp on the highlighter, and think about going a little bolder with your lippie. The one thing you (and I mean me) doesn’t want to be (ever) is pasty so don’t forget some good quality self tanner a couple of days in advance so your legs can do those dresses justice!
Lastly, if you are going the staying in route, you can be comfy and still pulled together. A sparkly mani is an easy way to get into the spirit and don’t forget about decor! Confetti balloons, banners and champagne candles are all easy picks to compliment your wine and cheese!
