Intl Peach x Party City Canada – Get Ready to Celebrate with Curated Moodboards

To say that my latest collaboration with Party City Canada is a dream for me would be an understatement! You know I love to throw parties, host and entertain, and I get countless questions on how to put together an event and where to start. That’s why I’ve partnered with my friends at Party City to share three curated mood boards for different events that you can easily recreate with their offerings.

Party City has helped out with my daughters’ most recent two birthdays, and I loved that I was able to easily add in items to really tie everything together that I didn’t have to DIY. They have EVERYTHING you can think of for any kind of event, and we decided to start with a few ideas that I think a lot of you will find helpful:

This theme is meant to be for a first birthday and I love it so much that if I was having another baby this would what I go with! It’s playful, fun, not overdone and can easily be kept gender neutral like the moodboard, or catered to more traditional girl/boy color schemes. If I were doing this for my daughters, I’d probably stick to more of the pastels/glitter shades exclusively. The net balloon installation is very easy to execute, and I love the idea of using the beach balls to actually play with (perhaps in a pool if you have one!), or to create a fun photo backdrop with a cluster of them. I love the idea of a ‘cabana’ to house drinks/loot bags for everyone, and I would definitely work in the ‘crawl, walk, surf’ verbiage to any printed materials and the cake!

I love a paw-ty theme because once again it’s gender neutral, and it works for a wide range of young kid ages without being tied to specific number. And because let’s face it, what kid doesn’t like puppies?! Not surprisingly, I would lean into some neutral elements with the white/black tableware, and then add in some fun pops with the red/teal/orange to keep it fun for the kids! This is very similar to how I did my one daughter’s Mickey Mouse party and I loved that it had colour for her but was still grounded with the neutrals. I love that for this theme you can once again use Party City’s existing items to make really impactful touches – like that balloon garland and the piñata. For takeaways, I would do an ‘adoption’ set-up with stuffies in carry home boxes. Top it off with a hydrant hydration station, doggie portrait cupcakes and those adorable balloon dog centerpieces, and you’re good to go!

Last but certainly not least, let’s talk about the quiet luxury soiree – this is something that you could pull together for any number of events and it works for every single one. 21st birthday, 25th birthday, 30th birthday, house warming, bridal shower, graduation dinner, baby shower, rehearsal dinner… it works for all of them because it’s understated and chic, as the name suggests. I love the clear/iridescent/glitter combination for the balloons, and would keep the table setting really clean and pretty and accent with white florals. The tableware for this is such great quality and way easier and more cost-effective than renting. Those charger placemats in life are probably my fave item. Throw in some signature drinks and customized menu cards and it’s giving expensive lol. And if anyone recreates that fountain, I better get an invite!!
